It pays to have women at the top

I want to share an article I read today as today is International Womens Day. It is useful because it shows, for your consideration, the categories where we observe pay and wealth inequity between men and women.  This inequity need not persist. Governments, businesses and individuals need to be willing to address this issue.  The data here shows that women are undervalued at all stages of their working life.

Menís glass ceilings, A lesson for Women.

I have written on this topic before, but in light of the response wanted to share another similar story.  That is to reinforce that a glass ceiling isn’t just something that stops woman’s progress.  Both men and women will find themselves not being able to move up the corporate ladder for no explicit reason.  This is the definition of a Glass Ceiling.

Innovation now comes with a formula linked to diversity.

I was recently asked to speak at the business breakfast as a guest of BPW for the latest Warrnambool business week.  Business is looking for the all important edge, and wants to find new ways to help lift its local and global competiveness.  My talk centered on innovation, and tools for business to help ensure that their workforce was suitably engaged. The main part of my presentation related to the recent scientific data that uncovered a formula for business success.  So the findings we very well received.  For those who missed the breakfast and have requested the summary of my presentation, I will share the formula with you here.
